The 68th Grey Cup was played on November 23, 1980 before 54,661 fans at the Exhibition Stadium at Toronto. The Edmonton Eskimos demolished the Hamilton Tiger-Cats by the score 48 to 10, in one of the Grey Cup's most lopsided victories.
The Edmonton Eskimos are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta, competing in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Edmonton has had the most regular season division championships in the modern era with 21, with their most recent coming in 2003. The team has a rivalry with the Calgary Stampeders and are one of the three community owned teams currently operating in the CFL.
